Summary / Role Purpose

Product specialist II works closely with Application Engineers and product developers to drive product development and provide expert help in deployment of Ansys solutions. In this role you will collaborate with a team of expert professionals to accomplish objectives.Key focus areas will include all areas related to IP/SoC/3DIC Power Integrity, Signal Integrity, Reliability aspects like EM/ESD/Thermal, Advanced timing/jitter, Packaging – the top challenges for any chip design on advanced nodes like 7/5/3 nm

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with Customers & Application Engineers to understand new field requirements and create product specifications.
• Works on Ansys-Seascape platform – Semiconductor Industry’s First and Only True Big-Data design Platform!
• Validate new product features & ensure it meets the requirements
• Provide expertise to application engineers and customers in deploying select advanced features
• Work behind the scenes, be task-orientated and take direction from a mentor to assist with evaluations, benchmarks or demos
• Develop the trust and respect of team members

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

• Required Education and Degree Type: BS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Required Minimum Years of Professional Experience: BS+5, or MS+3, or PhD+1
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in either of a) ASIC Physical design, b) Power-Integrity/Signal-Integrity/Reliability Closure c) Custom circuit design and simulation
• Experience in a large-scale commercial software support
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team
