Summary / Role Purpose

Join the ANSYS Customer Excellence team to support our customers on all the aspects of installation, configuration, and deployment of Ansys software into their design workflows. Primarily working under direct supervision of your manager, you will provide technical post-sales support, find solutions to a wide variety of technical challenges and channel customer feedback to improve Ansys products. You will be a part of our positive, dynamic team of enthusiastic and passionate engineers striving to deliver highest quality solutions to our customers, advancing your technical knowledge and soft skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Under guidance of experienced Ansys Customer Excellence team members, provide highest level technical support to customers and Channel Partners
• Adhere to support processes to ensure high-quality, timely customer service that results in customer satisfaction
• Develop technical proficiency in configuring software in one or more simulation areas
• Under guidance of other team members, file defect reports and verify fixes adhering to defect reporting processes. Submit suggestions for product improvement, when needed. May also participate in field testing of new releases to ensure that new features and workflows will address customer requirements
• Participate in other strategic team and company initiatives, as needed

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

• Required education and degree type: BS or equivalent relevant experience in a computer-related field
• Required minimum education and years of professional experience in a computer systems support, administrator, and/or software developer role: BS+0
• Experience with supporting Windows-based computer systems, familiarity with concepts that impact software deployment and network administration, knowledge of programming and scripting languages
• Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English
• Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency
• Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Preferred education and years of professional experience in a computer systems support, administrator, and/or software developer role: BS+2
• Experience with supporting Linux-based computer systems
• Experience with scripting languages
• Experience with cloud computing, AWS or Azure.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of time
