O’Shenu Technologies is an advanced technology company for silicon photonics design and testing. It was initially founded by some technical experts and operators with many years of experience in the silicon photonics industry. The group is now headquartered in Louvain-la-Neuve, a peaceful village in Wallonia, Belgium. Our company specializes in the end-to-end development of silicon photonics technology. Our mission is to enhance the capabilities of the silicon photonics sector through innovative solutions and strategic partnerships. For business, we provide silicon photonics design services and test design kit (TDK) technology development services to our customers. To meet more research needs, we are looking for design engineers in optical I/O, filters, modulators, photodetectors and the functional circuits based on silicon photonics platform. Meanwhile, we are also look for design engineers in high-speed modulators based on thin film lithium niobate platform.

Responsibilities:

  • 1. Work as a photonic design engineer dedicated to develop silicon photonics/ thin film lithium niobate device and product.
  • 2. Design and model photonic components and circuits.
  • 3. Validate designs by performing statistical analysis of measurement data in the R&D phase.
  • 4. Contribute to the development of new applications and system architectures, such as ultra-high-speed transceivers, photonic neural network, and 6G photonics.
  • 5. Stay updated on industry trends through research and conference participation and support our R&D activities with new ideas and solutions.
  • 6. Collaborate with local and global teams.

Qualifications:

  • 1. Ph.D. in Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or 2 more years of work experience in R&D or industry.
    In depth knowledge of integrated optics and optoelectronics components.
  • 2. Proven track record in designing and testing silicon photonics and thin film lithium niobate components.
  • 3. Strong understanding of photonic architectures and systems for advanced silicon photonics applications.
  • 4. Proficiency in photonics modeling tools (e.g., Lumerical, COMSOL, Silvaco, HFSS, ADS, KLayout, and IPKISS).
  • 5. Rich work experience in R&D or industry is a plus.
  • 6. Excellent English communication skills is a must.
