Job Description:

As the Senior Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading the sales team, identifying the potential market opportunities, formulating the sales strategy, developing the key customers and achieve the sales goal successfully.

Responsabilities:
–       Develop sales strategy planning, which includes the market analysis, target, key actions, sales management process tracking, sales team management, etc.
–       Lead the sales team, which include building, recruiting, assigning tasks, and motivating the sales team
–       Manage sales progress to ensure the implementation of business strategy and plans.
–       Actively seek out and convert new business opportunities by identifying the needs of existing and potential customers, tracking industry market trends, and discovering new sales opportunities.
–       Assist team members in developing major clients, manage core clients, and maintain good cooperative relationships.
–       Negotiate commercial agreements with key clients to meet corporate objectives.
–       Timely identify problems in sales process and take immediate action to solve them.
–       Respond to all sales target KPIs.
–       Participate in trade shows, seminars, training activities or other related events, as requested and required.

Requirements:
–       University diploma in a related field
–       At least ten years working experience in the Optical Fiber or Photonics-related industry
–       At least five years of sales and sales management experience
–       Technical knowledge of products and their use (asset)
–       Business knowledge of the assigned market segment (asset)
–       Autonomy, initiative, resourcefulness and reliability
–       Leadership and strong team building skills
–       Acute business sense, strong negotiation skills and ability to seize opportunities
–       Knowledge of CRM principles
–       Computer skills (Office Suite, database)
–       Available for long-distance travel (about 25%)
–       Bilingualism (English/French)
