NKT Photonics is looking for an experienced and structured Salary & Expense Accountant who can coordinate with our external service providers on payroll and be responsible for the company’s global payroll process as well as the process for settling expenses.

NKT Photonics has employees in Denmark, Sweden, UK, US, Germany, Switzerland and France. You will become an important part of Corporate Finance responsible for ensuring that all payroll and employee related transactions are completed accurately, timely and in accordance with local authority requirements and other statutory regulations.

Together with our Senior Finance Manager and the rest of the Corporate Finance team, you will have an important role in proactively managing and continuously improving the payroll process as well as the processes for handling travel costs and expenses.

PRIMARY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

NKT Photonics has outsourced the payroll process. It will therefore be your primary responsibility to coordinate with our payroll providers, check and ensure that accurate data is available to our payroll providers. This requires that you have a broad collaboration with primarily the HR department, as well as production. You will also provide service to our colleagues regarding questions about salary, deductions, attendance and time registration, as well as identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies between time sheets and various salary registrations. Financial processes and reporting to the company are also part of the role.
