Summary / Role Purpose 

The Product Specialist II is responsible for leveraging domain engineering knowledge as a part of Product Specialist team responsible for overall development and validation of Ansys EDA Products for deployment across top semiconductor companies. This involves working with Software developers, Architects, Application Engineers, and Semiconductor Customers, from ideation all the way to final product release and deployment.
Key focus areas will include all areas related to RTL Power Estimation, Analysis, Optimization and Reduction, IP/SoC/3DIC Power, Power Integrity and Reliability on advanced nodes like 7/5/3 nm.


Key Duties and Responsibilities
•    Be a part of the Product Engineering Team that works with Software developers, Application Engineers and Global Customers to help develop state-of-the-art EDA products solving RTL Power Estimation, Analysis, Optimization and Reduction challenges across advanced nodes.
•    Apply engineering expertise and knowledge of Semiconductor RTL Power products to provide highest level of technical support to leading semiconductor design houses and foundries, ensuring high-quality and timely resolution of customer requirements and product feature enhancements 
•    Gather customer requirements from Application Engineers to support the improvement of Ansys software and collaborate with the Ansys R&D and Product Management teams to translate customer requirements into new product capabilities. 
•    Work with Global-Customers / IP-providers / Foundries to understand design challenges of cutting-edge SoCs & 3DICs on 7/5/3 nm and create EDA product specifications.
•    Work on Ansys-Seascape platform – Semiconductor Industry’s First and Only True Big-Data design Platform!
•    Perform in-depth validation to ensure Product meets accuracy and other requirements.
•    Collaborate with Application Engineers to support Global Customers in solving their design challenges on leading edge SoCs.
•    Participate in internal corporate initiatives to share knowledge and to create best practices, inside the discipline and cross-disciplines Develop simulation best practices, solutions, FAQs for knowledge base


Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
•    Bachelor’s/Master’s from Electronics and Communications Engineering/VLSI from Top Institutions (NITs/IITs and likes)
•    1-2 years of prior experience in either of a) RTL Design b) ASIC Physical design, c) Power and Power-Integrity Closure
•    Strong problem-solving skills
•    Good programming skills
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate and conduct webinars and presentations to customers
•    Ability to work on multiple projects which are complex in nature


Preferred Qualifications and Skills
•    Passion to learn and deploy new technologies.
•    Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and translate these into an execution plan that delivers value and meets business goals
•    Ability for minimal travel
