As a product manager, you are responsible for the performance of individual product lines and their economic success. You are the contact person for all matters relating to the product, both within the department and for other departments, in particular as a coordinator between R&D, production, marketing, sales and business development in order to implement customer-specific requests. In your role as product manager

• You will monitor competitors using market research and create competitive analyses in order to further develop your product line and its possible applications.
• Ensure the maintenance, analysis and further development of the product portfolio including pricing and market launch of new products.
• Create technical documentation and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards while adhering to regulatory requirements for the product line.
• Identify technical and business risk factors that could affect the success of the product line and use them to your advantage.

• a completed MINT degree – ideally with a focus on optics or photonics,
• a high level of intercultural competence and fluency in written and spoken German and English,
• Willingness to travel internationally and the ability to adequately represent both our products and the company,
• At least three years or more of product management experience in the field of optics, laser or semiconductor technology
• Confident use of MS Office, ideally SAP knowledge
