What are your tasks? 

As an operational buyer with a technical affinity, you are responsible for ensuring the availability of production materials and the procurement of auxiliary and operating materials. In your role as an operational buyer

• You are the contact person for the topics and issues of the operational procurement business.
• ensure the smooth running of purchasing-related tasks along the company’s internal interface processes
• Accompany/take over the project-related tasks and report the results to the Head of Purchasing or the relevant contact person.
• conduct price and condition negotiations with suppliers.
• ensure smooth communication between external suppliers/service providers and internal stakeholders. Additionally, support the SQE in the qualification process for new materials.
• You represent the Head of Purchasing in a variety of strategic and operational activities.

What do we expect from you?

Of course, we have corresponding requirements for the professionally and personally suitable candidate. We expect analytical thinking, the ability to work in a team, resilience and intrinsic motivation. Do you also have other qualities, such as

• completed vocational training, a degree in economics or similar.
• At least two years of experience in procurement / purchasing
• Excellent written and spoken German skills
• a technical understanding
• Sound user knowledge of MS Office + possibly ERP systems
• Good process thinking and the ability to assess the situation from an economic perspective
