As an interface between production, assembly planning, development, procurement and our suppliers, we are responsible for and plan all logistical structures and processes at the Ingolstadt site for future vehicle projects. Already in the early project phases, we actively influence and design the vehicle projects and the factory structures in a way that is logistically appropriate. Our area of ​​responsibility lies in planning the entire material flow from the supplier to the installation site, including coordination with the assembly cycle with regard to the positioning concept for all components, development of special load carriers and equipment for sequencing. In addition to ensuring that parts are provided on time, the aim of our planning is to optimize all logistical parameters along the material flow.
