The intern will aim to continue the development of this model in order to respond to the spatial problems of positioning the detectors and to make comparisons with theoretical calculations. The digital model and the developments that he will have implemented will allow him to validate the theoretical expressions necessary for understanding the fluctuations of the neutron population. This internship will allow the candidate to develop his physical sense by focusing on statistical neutronics and its simulation. The subject is also in keeping with the times with a strong programming component requiring the adaptation of this model to HPC type architectures (multiprocessors and multigpus). We are looking for a candidate in M2 or engineering schools with or without a specialization in nuclear sciences and a pronounced affinity for programming.
