As the “Development Requirements / Functional Architecture” department, we develop the systems engineering-compliant basis for Audi AG’s products and create the conditions for competitively superior vehicles with attractive functionalities and outstanding technical properties. We develop the functionally relevant requirements and the functional architecture of the entire vehicle and, in the event of conflicting objectives, we bring about a consensus via the architecture teams. We influence the Group’s platforms so that hats with premium customer requirements can also be implemented on them. The electronic architectures of the future are developed on the basis of our work.
