The Procurement division is responsible for the globally competitive availability of procurement goods, taking into account costs, deadlines, technologies and quality. We are also responsible for the value-based procurement of purchased parts and semi-finished products. The Commodity Metal division is responsible for innovation topics such as lightweight construction (aluminum, high-strength steels), innovative chassis/brake systems and transmission/electric axle drives. The core task here is strategic and operational supplier management. The focus here is on planning and implementing global procurement strategies in order to ensure a high-performance supplier portfolio.
