The “Quality Control Functions/Systems Drive” department controls the activities in the drive development process, regardless of the type of drive (combustion engines, plug-in hybrids and purely electric vehicles). It accompanies and evaluates the development process along the V-model in the sense of systems engineering, from the requirements to the release of the overall product. Detailed maturity management supports the transparent representation of the current product and process maturity and the risk in order to achieve a compliant and timely release. An essential component of the release is the release confirmation of emissions and consumption.

The basis for this is participation and collaboration in cross-departmental committees such as system teams and close networking with technical development.
