Internship Description:

We are looking for a photonic programming intern (3-6 months) to perform interfacing and automatization of our optical system and optical characterization setups for our innovative chemical sensors, which are at the core of InSpek’s unique sensing technology.

Responsabilities:

Develop the optical characterization, interfacing optomechanical and optical equipment using in-house Python scripts • Working on the software development for optical testing and validation of InSpek’s chemical sensing probe • Implement updates to InSpek’s proprietary data collection and treatment software • Maintain detailed documentation of experimental setups, procedures and results.

• Writing and presenting reports to share progress with the optical team

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer science, Electrical Engineering, optical engineering, or a related field • Solid understanding of programming in Python, UI/UX and data collection libraries • Experience with equipment interfacing and characterization setup • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Good communication skills in English • Familiarity with guided optics or integrated photonics would be a plus • Proactivity, creativity, and all the soft skills that will help build the success of InSpek with us!
