VNAT Manufacturing team is looking for an undergrad intern to support automation projects to enhance our operation efficiencies. Scope of work: Focus on deploying Proof Of Concept (PoC) of Data Science/AI use case in Manufacturing, these projects need deep dive into coding and AI but should not be too intensive as for the domain knowledge considering the time bound of internship period. Below are some examples: – Computer Vision project that support tracking and monitoring the WIP (Work in Progress) Rack/ IDM (Indirect Material) rack status, inventory usage and management. – IDM purchasing optimizing tool. This is to support manufacturing engineer to make decisions on POR (plan of record) forecast. (Can leverage legacy excel version to build next generation).
