As an Intern in the Aerospace Defense & Marine Business Unit, you will: Work with the engineers on the team to experience different stages of the design process. Gain experience with digital engineering tools such as CAD (Creo and Space-claim) and FEA (ANSYS), Use equipment such as a force testing machine and a metrology system. Gain exposure to manufacturing processes such as machining, plating, molding, sealing, complex assembly, and industry requirements like REACH, EU RoHS, and Prop 65 declarations. See engineering principals being applied to real world applications. Responsibilities: Assist the other engineers with their design tasks. Learn about connector design and the engineering principals that drives it. Interact with members of other teams such as manufacturing, project management, and quality control.
