Job Description:

To help us in this mission, we are looking for a Senior Optical Coating and Metallization Engineer. In this position, not only you will be working with innovative technology, you will also contribute to the development of our processes, whilst making impact. You will report to the Cluster Lead for Wet-Etch, Back-End and Metal team.
Responsibilities:
Be in charge of our metal deposition and optical Coating tool and processes; Optimizing existing and developing new processes in the metal production area such as evaporated physical vapor deposition and rapid annealing on 4″ wafers; Planning and carrying out tests to continuously improve processes in terms of stability, yield, throughput times and costs; Definition, specification and qualification of production materials and auxiliary materials; Being in charge and maintaining our SPC processes, whilst improving them; Provide overall technical support (e.g. on our tools) as well as coating and metallization knowledge in a wafer fab; Interact with different teams, such as Test & Measurement, Back-End and Operations;
Requirements:
A PhD or Master’s degree in Material Science, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering or relevant;
10 years of practical experience in semiconductor technology and industrial manufacturing; Deep knowledge of Metallization and/or optical coatings processes, Experience with PVD and in the optical coating processes as well as handling coating systems and vacuum technology; Experience with working on Metallization tools; Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Software); Proven experience with improving processes and using statistical tools (e.g. FMEA, SPC, DoE); Bias for Action and Ownership – you roll up your sleeves and get the job done; Good communication skills in English;
