Test Application Engineer (Ref. TAE)

What You Will Do:As part of our Engineering team, you will develop test sequences and test automatic systems for the functional testing of electronic devices in the automotive and consumer electronics sectors. You will be responsible for:

• Receive and agree with the customer the test specifications;
• Implement the automatic test sequence independently by leveraging the company’s HW test platforms;
• Optimize performance;
• Validate results by designing diagnostic tests;
• Creating test scripts for tuning and benchmark testing;
• Fix any problems;
• Updating documentation on system development standards, application notes and software libraries;
• manage any issues while dealing with the customer.

Who We Are Looking For:You have a technical background and good knowledge of electrical measurements, a good command of written and spoken English and you can easily use a PC and the main IT tools.The following skills are also considered necessary:

• Knowledge of National Instruments software environment: TestStand, LabView.
• Knowledge of the most common communication buses and protocols (I2C, CAN, Uart, Tcp/Ip…).
• Good use of laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, spectrum/network analyzers, etc.
