Job Description:
The ultrafast photonics group searches for a scientific employee for the research and development of femtosecond laser sources

Responsabilities:
– Design, realization and characterization of mode-locked fiber oscillators and amplifiers
– Independent planning and execution of experiments
– Evaluation, processing and discussion of the experimental results
– Communication with project partners from the industry

Requirements:
You should bring
– A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with above-average academic performance in the field of physics, optical technologies, laser technology or equivalent
– Ideally experience with fiber-based laser and amplifier systems and/or non-linear frequency conversion
– Further practical experience in the fields of optics & photonics, handling optics and electronics is an advantage
– Willingness to familiarise yourself independently with new topics and to continuously discuss and question your own results.
– creativity and commitment as member of our research team

Salary Range:
Employment and remuneration are based on the TV-L (depending on qualifications up to TV-L ¾ E13)
