Your responsibility as a Project Controller is to ensure, as a specialist, a good financial structure and risk management of the project aimed at optimal use of the project funds. Independently carries out grant projects and is responsible for correctly recording the financial status within a grant project (project management) of complex research projects and is the point of contact for the project leaders, You take a proactive advisory role, and you advise the Research Leader/Project Leader on all financial aspects of a research project. This includes budget shifts, optimal utilization, the financial side of personnel planning and forecasting of the project, You manage the project within the framework of the subsidy scheme/project conditions (compliance), Communication – the ability to consult with many different individual personalities with varying interests, You are also able to train junior employees or fulfill a mentoring role, You are an activator when it comes to improvement processes; You can recognize risks and you know how to keep these risks manageable as part of a project team, You are aware of the content of the subsidy schemes/project conditions that you work with, You use your specialism and knowledge more broadly in the organization, by also contributing ideas as an advisor to the design of projects that fall outside your portfolio.
