Bac +5 internship: Study on high aspect ratio drilling and cutting using femtosecond laser beam shaping.
Talence, France, Europe

This internship will initially consist of taking charge of the optical assembly allowing beam shaping. Next, it will focus on studying the influence of laser parameters and materials on the modifications obtained with this method. This internship will be an opportunity to discover and work on high-precision laser micro-machining machines. It will also allow you to gain experience on different types of laser beam shaping and their characterization, as well as on several metrology techniques (optical, electron and confocal microscopy). The analysis and interpretation of laser-matter interaction processes according to the different experimental conditions will constitute a notable part of the work.
