0811-23 – Impact evaluation and learning manager: social and community impact – KTP Associate
Aston University
Birmingham, United Kingdom, Europe

This role is an exciting opportunity for candidates with either a MSc or PhD in Psychology, Organisational Psychology, Marketing or related discipline with experience of project management, establishing working relationships with third sector organisations and stakeholders, research design, data collection and analysis using quantitative and qualitative methods. The KTP’s primary aim is to develop an impact evaluation toolkit which facilitates the measuring, recording and reporting of social and community impact activities undertaken by Aston Villa Foundation (AVF) and its partner organisations. It will inform the Charity’s design of projects, data gathering methodology, standardized quantitative outcome measures (psychometric scales and questionnaires), and qualitative methods of data collection and analysis. It will provide training and guidance on testing feasibility and effectiveness, implementation of interventions to AVF staff, and transparent reporting of social and community impact within and beyond the sector. The toolkit will enable AVF staff to more easily identify whether interventions meet their intended outcomes, if there are incidental benefits and what is scalable to other projects. Results will improve interventions benefitting individual users and the community. The outcomes will enable more focused and targeted activity, which in turn will enable Aston Villa Foundation (AVF) to improve delivery.
