The task of production planning is to develop assembly lines for future vehicle generations. We plan efficient and cost-optimized processes to build finished vehicles from painted bodies. At the end of an assembly line you can see the result of the intensive collaboration of numerous engineers, technicians and developers: a new Audi.

In order to keep Audi competitive in the future, the production of electric vehicles is becoming more and more of a focus. Due to the electrification of the drive, our production in the areas of battery assembly and
commissioning must also change. The integration of these drive technologies into our existing production structures ensures Audi’s future viability.

Our department is responsible for planning the high-voltage battery production, which will supply our plant in Ingolstadt with the latest generation of drive batteries.
