Production planning forms the link between product planning and production for future vehicle models. We are responsible for the so-called early phase of vehicle projects, i.e. we evaluate and plan new, electrified models that will be built in the next few years.

For these new models, we examine the integration into the factory, into the production structures, right down to the individual assembly line. We work across all locations for all Audi locations worldwide. We are also the contact persons for virtual assembly planning within production planning. This includes varied activities from the CAD/DMU area and the conduct of cross-departmental coordination meetings and simulations of the assembly process. We also coordinate the so-called 3P process workshops, in which the previously planned process sequences are tested on a test vehicle both in reality and virtually, long before the market launch.
