Compliance with emissions and OBD legislation lays an important foundation for the successful registration of all vehicles with combustion engines. Modern vehicle drives are complex and therefore require intelligent and legally compliant engine control unit software. OBD is an important part of this software. The “Application Onboard Diagnostics” organizational unit is the central contact for OBD applications. We are responsible for the legally compliant OBD application of all AUDI AG inline four-cylinder TFSI engines for the entire global market. Our tasks range from vehicle testing, application and validation to documentation of the entire OBD application process.
